At the end of the first week of our Stand Up for Animals Campaign, we are very excited to say it has gone extremely well with 30,091 little orange people signed!
The Body Shop staff and customers have been enthusiastically getting behind the campaign and not only signing the petition but taking photos with our big orange people (see photos below!)
This campaign is very important as many people think that the live export issue has been solved – but it hasn’t, it’s still cruel and it’s important we get that message out.
The signatures that The Body Shop will gain, and therefore the partnership itself, are putting serious pressure on the government to make positive changes for animals.
Only two weeks remain of the in-store promotion so make sure that you get down to your nearest Body Shop store and sign a little orange person to tell government that live export hasn’t gone away and neither have you!
Each little orange person signed will be taken to Parliament ahead of the Federal election next year.
The more little orange people signed, the greater traction we can have with government to make sure action is taken on this issue and we start to move towards the alternatives to live export.
So if you want to take a stand on live exports, get as many people as you know to go to The Body Shop and sign a little orange person!
