Sheep found dying on WA roads as more Australians speak out against live exports

With only two full-time inspectors policing WA’s livestock industry, it is unsurprising to see gruesome sights such as this: Truck drivers transporting the sheep are leaving injured ones to die along the side of the road at the Western Australia/South Australia border. Perth Now recently published an article on the issue reporting that the RSPCA had to set up an inspection point at the border after receiving so many reports of animal mistreatment. THE STATE OF ANIMAL WELFARE ENFORCEMENT IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
